A Note from Jonny and Ste…

Well, it’s been a crazy time. To cut a long story short, and miss loads out from the past three years, I’ve………

HANG ON, IM TRYING TO WIRTE A BLOG BUT SOME TWAT KEEPS MESSAGEING ME

Continued…… now fully recovered and pulled my act together.

2 Years ago, original band members Rick Lees and Adam Clarke couldn’t carry on touring and being members of Twisted Wheel. So at one point in the bands history, I was left with no drummer and no bass player (gutted). Teaching the new boys the old songs took some time as we were gigging 3 or 4 times a week, and so progression was slow for a while. A lot has happened in-between, some good and some bad, but I know it all counts towards creating potentially the best rock n roll album of this decade.

On the 5th March, we spent one week at Chapel Studios in Lincoln with producer Tim Hampton , to record our 2nd album. We finished the album a month later at Crystal Ships studios in Sheffield to record some vocals and three other tunes.

We are now in early July, it’s pissing it down, and today our album has become available for pre order. ‘Ride’ has gone out as a free download, and a single with b-sides will follow before the release of the album.

I am writing this blog from now on, so we will be filling you in with our daily activity on a regular basis. Sorry for missing out so many exciting stories from the past but you will be able to read about them in the book sometime haha. Anyway, it’s still pissing it down and I’ve been watching Fred Dibnah’s traction engines all day.

Tonight, Wheel will practice the set for Kendal Calling; we have three different ones to choose from so we surely can’t go wrong. It’s sounding good people, very promising, and we are coming back with a vengeance. Pre order that album, you will not regret it, and I’m sure we will see you at a gig in a city near you.
